Permanent Photographic Impressions in Concrete

Using the combination of chemistry, high tech equipment, concrete expertise, graphical technology, and a great deal of persistency, a milestone was reached in the fall of 2003. A process was developed which allows a structural material to have a permanent embedded image on the surface.

Is it Possible to Replicate Photographic Images into Concrete Permanently?

The task seemed insurmountable, and as with all good ideas, this one seemed to fall into that category until one day, the right reactions began to appear and the end products came alive.

As the process continued to improve with amazing results, we hit an apex that only seemed a remote possibility early on. Our official unveiling began in the fall of 2003 and we have enjoyed reflecting back on the road traveled...but the road ahead is marked with as much excitement as our initial discovery and we invite you to come along as we continue on a journey that will have a profound impact on the visual hardscape as we know it.

And as a grand footnote to the entire process, our work is currently on display through January 2006 at the National Building Museum, located in Washington, D.C. , a cutting edge process inclusion. For more on this story please click here:
