Intaglio
Composites has been selected as a provider of panels commemorating
the rich art nouveau history of Dallas, Texas architecture in the
reproduction of art created by Aaron Douglas, a renowned black artist.
This
project will consist of the reproductions of the colored panels
shown. They will measure 5’ square and 4” thick for
placement into an exterior wall out side the new GSA project in
Dallas, Texas. |

These
pieces will be done in a black aggregate and white tinted background.
The complexity of these images have posed a challenge for our design
team, but we feel confident that the artists use of shade values will
be effectively transferred in the well known works of Douglas from
the Nouveau Period. |

During
the conception of any project, we bring a graphical expertise that
rivals any design house. Through the development of our photo-engraved
process, we are able to further expand the “feel” and
suggestive course of action that the client should take to insure
the end result is one of maximum value.

In
concert with these images, our graphical multi media department has
proposed the use of multiple staged glass carved panels of the same
work, edge lit in the different hues of color to be situated in the
walls inside the facility. The impact that draws the onlooker to this
work would be invaluable to the overall design. |
